NebularStack Overview
NebularStack is a managed, cloud-hosted (SaaS) platform, so there is no backend software for you to build or operate. It is made up of independent services, and it is designed to grow into a broad suite that will serve many industries over time. You work with it through a web interface and a full REST/JSON API, which lets you connect your own portals and systems.
Two of the services available today are Identity and Subscriber Management.
Identity (IAM)
Identity and Access Management (IAM) controls who can do what on the platform. It lets administrators authorize actions on specific resources, giving you central control and visibility over your NebularStack resources.
Your account is organized into domains and tenants. A domain is the top-level container for your tenants and services, and a tenant groups a related set of your customer's resources, such as subscriber accounts. Users, roles and assignments then determine which people can access which tenants, and with what permissions.
See the Identity (IAM) documentation for more detail.
Subscriber Management
Subscriber Management is a complete backend for your AAA / RADIUS infrastructure requirements. It handles Authentication, Authorization and Accounting, and is built specifically for the internet service provider industry.
It takes care of your subscribers and their sessions, tracks usage, and applies your service policies, quotas and expiry rules. It works as the backend behind Lunar, our RADIUS software, answering the authentication, accounting and change-of-authorization calls Lunar makes. Because everything is exposed over the API, you can provision and manage subscribers from your own systems.
See the Subscriber Management Overview for more detail.
